Coverage follows the data network

A crew can move between the plant, pit, pad and office without changing radio systems. Channels follow the work rather than the footprint of one tower.

Coverage is only as good as the underlying data network. push.tt does not create a signal in dead zones and must not replace certified or mandated safety radio systems.

Built for gloves, noise and rugged handsets

The talk control is deliberately large, and compatible rugged Android radios can use their physical push-to-talk paddle while the handset stays clipped to a vest or belt.

  • Audio streams live rather than arriving after the speaker finishes
  • Transmit, receive, requesting and busy states are distinguishable at arm's length
  • Route audio through the handset, an earpiece or paired audio hardware

Operational detail stays inside the operation

Production figures, equipment faults, access instructions and contractor movements should not travel as an open broadcast. Private and organisation channels encrypt them on member devices.

  • push.tt servers relay ciphertext they cannot read on encrypted channels
  • On-device transcription adds readable context without sending channel audio to a transcription service
  • Retention, escrow and audit controls are available where the organisation enables them
